Experience:

I am currently in my 5th year of teaching with 4 years in outstanding schools in in London. I have experience with children with SEN and children with EAL. I have recently used my experience to train a teacher who has just qualifed with an outstanding grade. My enthusiastic and patient attitude allows children to learn in a safe and stimulating environment. I am trained in a range of phonics, reading and maths schemes and have access to lots of resources. Children are supported emotionally too.

Approach:

Lessons are planned based on what children need. I will assess children's ability in the first session and plan appropriately to meet their needs. Lessons and resources are personalized to the children and their needs and likes. The tutoring will consist of some input of the content, practical activities and independent tasks. The children will be given feedback and support throughout. Parents can be provided with tasks and ideas they can do at home without me.
