Experience:

I have taught everything from Business English to IELTS preparation in London, Cape Town and the UAE, privately and in a range of business and language schools, since 2009. I am very media and tech savvy, and like to balance face-to-face and online tuition. My style of teaching is very interactive and dynamic, and rooted in real-life experience.

Approach:

I'm very skilled at designing and sourcing learning materials that are tailored to the needs of my students. Thorough self-assessment by the student of their skills and challenges is an important complement to my own rubric-based evaluations. I'm well versed in the challenges that adult students face in learning English and can fully support them in becoming confident, fluent speakers of this world language.
