Experience:

I have been a freelance tutor for over 4 years, specializing in Science and Maths. I find tutoring to be an incredibly rewarding profession, especially when my students reach the goals they have been working towards. I have taught a wide age range of students. From from working with an UK based tutoring agency helping students with their pre-exams for prestigious schools (such as Eton, London Boys etc.), to helping university graduate students achieve their goal of entering Medical school.

Approach:

I generally use the lecture style method for teaching my students material through the use of whiteboards and Powerpoint. I believe that a core understanding of the learning materials is key to exam success and long-lasting knowledge of a subject. Memorization works temporarily but doesn’t lead to mastery of a subject. l enjoy using real world examples to explain difficult topics in order to keep lessons light, energetic and fun while doing mock tests along the way.
