Experience:

I hold a M.A in Multicultural College Teaching and Learning from the Univ. of Minnesota (US), where I created a learning method based on advertisements for Spanish courses, as a result from research in the Department of Spanish. I am also a DELF Examiner approved by the French Ministry of Education. In one of my current roles, as full-time Lecturer and Scientific Area Coordinator in a public university in Colombia, I have designed the French curriculum for under and post graduate students.

Approach:

I had the opportunity to work with a wide variety of students ranging from young children to undergraduates and high-level professionals. I have developed a strong capacity to adapt to learners’ specific needs, in multicultural contexts, using effective listening and creative approaches to keep students focused and motivated. For ex., during my B.A, I developed a teaching methodology for youth and university students to learn French and any other foreign language using cartoons and slangs.
