I have tutored in four countries offering guidance and support for Cambridge, IELTS and American SATS

Approach:

There has to be a balance between school teacher and purpose of tutoring sessions. Endless Past Paper questions is not my approach. I focus on areas that the student feels needs to be developed: close reading and textual analysis are normally the two main areas that students ask for support. For a one hour session I normally will work in 4x15 segments (small bites) with focus on key areas needed to improve confidence and skills
