PGCE, QTS, BA. 7 years teaching experience.

Experience:

I have been teaching in the UAE for 1 year. Previous to this, I worked at a prestigious prep school in central London. I also completed both my BA and PGCE in London. Previous to teaching I was employed as a school Matron. I specialise in Key Stage 2 Primary, however, I have experience teaching children as young as FS age. I have a solid understanding of Special Educational Needs and strive to maximise the potential of every child I teach.

Approach:

My style of teaching is entirely dependent on the needs of the child. Assessing the type of learner the student is will dictate my planning and delivery of the lesson. What works for some children, will not work for others so building a solid relationship with the child and family is crucial. My lessons are structured, interactive and engaging with the flexibility to be altered if that suits the direction the learning is taking.  I love teaching and would welcome the opportunity to help your child with his/her learning.
