Experience:

I am an Irish primary teacher who has been working in both American and British curriculum schools since 2014.I have 8 years of tutoring experience with students from KG-Grade 6 and Foundation Stage - Key Stage 3.I offer students well-balanced lessons providing them with a positive learning environment in which to develop their creative and intellectual skills. I promote many strategies that are found to be “new age” such as critical thinking, problem solving and creativity and innovation.

Approach:

I begin my lessons with new students by benchmarking their performance against a set of criteria relating to the curriculum they are studying. This allows me to assess their areas of weakness and enables me to tailor lessons according to each student's individual needs. I am extremely flexible in my approach to tutoring and have years of experience helping students with whatever they may need, whether it be online/hands-on activities, projects, writing activities or exam preparation.
