Experience:

My name is Alisha, I attended education in the United Kingdom up until I finished my degree in Biomedical Science obtaining a 2:1. I have learnt that each student is unique in their learning style, and I have quickly adapted to provide the material and support needed to assist students in achieving their full potential. I have experience in working with more challenging student in Maths, English and Science and they have said my approach to teaching has encouraged them to want to learn.

Approach:

Every new student I work with I start by asking them what their strengths and weaknesses are and plan my lessons based off that. I am a true believer that tackling the harder topics first is the best way to make sure individuals excel. I am an interactive tutor and like to hear my students talk, but also include practice questions often to ensure students are proactively learning and obtaining information.
