Qualification:PGCE (Physics) from King's College London, BSc in Biology (First Class with Honours) from Queen's University Belfast, A-levels in all 3 Sciences (Grade A)
Experience:I am an experienced Head of Science, Teacher and now full-time Online Tutor with a strong track record of improving my students' grades. I do this by identifying and filling gaps in knowledge and understanding, emphasising application of knowledge to new situations, and a focus on exam technique. I tutor the following at each level: A-level and IB: Biology and Physics GCSE and iGCSE: Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Combined Science KS2 and KS3: General Science and Mathematics
Approach:My exact style of teaching varies from student to student and depends on their style of learning, content requirements and whether they are working toward a specific exam. I use a combination of Zoom/Skype etc. and interactive whiteboard to work face to face and collaboratively with my students. This allows me to demonstrate how to solve problems as well as see student progress as they are solving problems themselves.
