Experience:

I am an enthusiastic and motivated teacher. I enjoy working with children to help them reach their full potential. Since qualifying with my Bachelor of Education degree I have ensured the children I work with receive support and encouragement. Working as a tutor enables me to form strong relationships with children. These relationships mean I can identify areas the children need support with, and hence plan lessons which develop skills in these areas.

Approach:

I deliver child-friendly, interactive lessons which focus on the learning needs of the children I tutor. I plan my lessons so they are based upon the interests of the child. I include games to effectively assess the child's progress. These assessments help me to identify learning goals for future tutoring sessions. This means I can deliver lessons which stimulate the child's interests, are focused on the areas they need to improve, thus ensuring they get the most out of each tutoring session.
