BA English; PGCE Secondary Education English

Experience:

Fully qualified teacher of English Language and Literature (UK trained). Highly experienced in teaching AQA specifications which is a thorough and intensive specification as well as having experience with the Cambridge IGCSE First Language. I offer tuition of Language Papers 1 & 2 as well as Literature covering but not limited to the following texts: Macbeth; An Inspector Calls; Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde and selected Poetry Anthologies.

Offering your child a patient and friendly approach with attention to detail that will make the difference. I believe that lessons should be tailored to suit the needs of the individual and they should be effective in supporting students to progress from the start of the lesson to the end. I am experienced in supporting students with SEN needs as I am able to break down the content they learn into manageable chunks so that students can makes sense of what they need to learn bit by bit.
