Qualification:

BA(Hons) Geography, Teach First PGDE, MA in Education & Leadership, 4 years teaching Geography, PE, Social Studies, Citizenship and Travel and Tourism, 15 years experience competing in elite-level netball and 7 years coaching experience.

Experience:

I have 4 years of teaching experience specialising in Geography. I have competed in elite-level netball for 15 years and have 7 years of coaching experience. I am kind and approachable and help students to build confidence through encouragement and unrelenting support. My questioning skills allow me to push students to develop their answers to access the top grades. I have a strong work ethic, high expectations, and am highly organised. These are strengths I seek to instill in my pupils.

Approach:

My lessons are engaging, interactive and challenging. I aim to push students to achieve their full potential by providing the necessary guidance. I aspire to get the best progress out of my students whilst simultaneously nurturing their curiosity and enjoyment of the subject. My lessons are tailored to the needs of individual students with differentiated support and resources provided to allow all students, regardless of ability, to access the lesson content and achieve the same objectives.
