Experience:

My tutoring experience stems from high school where I taught my classmates and my juniors. I was assigned to a couple of students as a form of community service during my A-level year. I'm very confident in my teaching skills as I don't spoon feed my students cause that's never going to make them learn. Moreover, I genuinely don't mind questions since it helps my students clear their doubts. Currently, I'm majoring in Psychology (Hons) so a student-to-student connection can be a good fit.

Approach:

For general lessons: I would start with reading materials and before moving on to homework, I'd prefer if the student answer a few of my questions regarding the lesson. I would let the student decide the answer for the first time by processing the knowledge that we attained through reading but if the student is struggling then I'll give out hints. If the student is still not able to provide an answer then I will describe it to them and later explain why that was the correct answer.
