Bachelor of Education, Specialism in Language and Literacy (Mary Immaculate College Ireland). Diploma in Special and Inclusive Educational Needs. (University College Dublin)

Experience:

Enthusiastic, hard-working and ambitious primary school teacher with over six years experience teaching at primary school level. I am a qualified literacy coach and have a specialism in Language and Literacy. Very experienced teaching children who have English as an Additional Language both in Ireland and in the UAE. I have taught all grade levels from KG1 to Grade 6 and can provide tutoring in any aspect of the primary school curriculum including English, Math and Science.

Approach:

Plans engaging and interactive lessons for primary children of all ages. Lessons are delivered in a child centred manner. Collaborates well with parents regarding the child's progress and works with parents in implementing a plan which will help the child with their development. Regular assessments are undertaken to evaluate the child's learning to ensure optimal progress.
