Experience:I supported children ranging from ages 4 to 15 with learning difficulties. I have experience supporting children with dyslexia, ADHD, ASD and other learning difficulties. We worked on phonics, reading, writing, spelling and study skills. I also support children with coming up with techniques to make things easier (visual schedule, charts, learning aids).
Approach:I like to get to know the child's likes and dislikes to be able to connect with him/her. I like to use visual schedules and reward charts to keep the children motivated. I also like to set goals to make sure we stay on track.
