My idea of teaching is that the child should be able to understand the aspects and apply those in reality. I believe in the idea of building a life through education. For me, biology is not just a subject it's the door through which you can reflect upon the world and its creator.

Approach:

 Honesty -This helps to establish rapport and trust, the two most critical elements to a successful tutoring relationship.  Flexible. I am willing to adjust techniques and approaches to meet the learning styles of the student. Patient. What is obvious or easy for you may not be so for your student. I feel each child needs to be addressed differently. A good listener.   This enables me to understand how the child is really feeling. A good listener does not dominate the conversation!
