Experience:

My philosophy in teaching lies in offering a broad and balanced range of activities which is accessible to all pupils. I base my lessons on creating a safe learning environment, in which every pupil can be stretched and challenged. I believe that PE can provide enjoyment, together with learning and success for all pupils. In order to attain this goal, PE experiences should be centred on the needs and capabilities of each and every individual so that their own potential is realised.

Approach:

Having the freedom to create my own schemes of work has allowed me to experiment with numeracy and literacy within my teaching, whilst also providing me with the opportunity to deploy a range of strategies such as AFL techniques, in order for pupils to achieve expected levels and beyond. All lessons are fun engaging and challenging for all, this will show the rapid progress made.
