Qualification:

Bachelor degree in Geography and a Masters in primary education

Experience:

I am a fluent English primary school teacher from Ireland. I have 6 years experience tutoring math, English and many other primary subjects to children. I also have 6 year of training done in college with a 2 year master degree in education. I have 3 years of classroom experience teaching a class of 25 plus students. I pride myself in being competent and fair with my students, I am committed to reaching desired goals which each of my students! I am flexible to the needs of parents and students.

Approach:

My lessons are needs based. I am a firm believer in the 'scaffolding' approach to teaching. This approach will allow the child to find answers by themselves with help from the tutor. Children will be engaged throughout my lessons and participation is very important to me. I prepare engaging material where the student will succeed and learn. Assessment of learning will take place at the end of every session to ensure the student is progressing all the time.
