BA Hons in Primary Education

Experience:

I have over 8 years of experience teaching in both the UK and Dubai. I have mainly taught in years 1, 2 4 and 5 but am fully qualified to teach children 4-11. I have previous experience as KS1 Phase Leader and Science Subject Leader. Having taught in year 1, I have plenty of experience teaching phonics and have a thorough understanding of the phonics screening process.

Approach:

Throughout my years of teaching, I have worked alongside children from a range of backgrounds, abilities and needs. I strive to ensure all of my lessons are fun, engaging and tailored to the child's exact needs. I am keen to find out any gaps within a child's learning and how they learn best to make sure my lessons are going to provide the necessary support to enable them to make accelerated progress quickly.
