Andy

Energetic, Engaging And Exciting Ks2 British Teacher With 6 Years Of Experience In Both The Uk And The Uae.

Qualification:

PGCE- Primary Teaching

Experience:

I qualified from university in the UK with an Upper Second Class Honors (2:1) degree in Primary Teaching. I taught for 3 years in the UK (Y2, 4 and 5), before moving to the UAE (Y5 & 6). I have worked with children of a variety of ranges, academic abilities and needs as well as a variety of different learning styles. This has lead me to be flexible in my teaching approach, responding to the need of the learner with my skill set in order to help children achieve and outperform their potential.

Approach:

In my lessons, I make them as engaging by using themes, hooks and physical elements. Whilst there's a place for textbooks and worksheets in education, the backbone of learning and academic development comes through experiences of the physical or things that children watch or hear. I ensure these opportunities are in my lessons, focused on the child's individual needs and interests. Math, English, Science or the wider studies - my lessons are fun, exciting and purposeful.
