Bachelor of Education in Education (Primary Teacher)

Experience:

I have an honours degree in Primary School Teaching. I love to create a playful and stimulating working environment with a calm atmosphere where children feel at ease and ready to learn. Creating a happy learning environment, well organised resources, personalising learning according to the pupils needs and likes, harnessing the use of talk power, making connections with the world around us, explicit learning intentions and creating meaningful plenaries which are driven by the pupils work.

Approach:

Fun, engaging with a focus on active learning. I Incorporate varied, engaging activities so that students don't become bored. -Pitch my teaching at an appropriate level for the students needs. -Assess what level the student is at and work from here. I plan each lesson in advance focusing on a combination of what the parent feels the student needs and knowledge from assessing the child. -I provide the parents with a detailed plan of what I will be covering with their child.
