Experience:

I have a Bachelor's degree in working with children, young people and families studies. Experience within the classroom. I have ran my own nursery and taught children of all ages in summer camps. The learning environment is always fun, challenging and effective with me. I love supporting and enhancing a child's learning and development.

Approach:

Key points Being a good listener. Learning to pick up clues in your student's speech that enable me to understand how he is really feeling. A good listener does not dominate the conversation! Be a collaborator. I am not there to take the place of the instructor. I let the student know they are there to work with her to supplement classroom and individual study. Teach the student how to learn. As a tutor my ultimate goal is to help the student become an independent learner.
