Qualification:

PhD – Molecular Biology, Biophysics & Biochemistry

Experience:

I have been Lecturing in the U.K. for 3 years; where I lead and structure numerous sessions governing a wide-scope of science-related subjects from Molecular Biology to Functional Anatomy under differential settings including lectures, tutorials, practicals and workshops online and in-person. I have also co-organised and mentored international non-academic and academic scientific researchers/students on the theoretical knowledge and practical skills underpinning the highly-efficient CRISPR/Cas9 gene-editing system in human cellular models. Throughout my PhD, I have mentored a plethora of students in their undergraduate and MSc-related projects and dissertations.

Approach:

Every student's approach to learning and understanding is different. Therefore, I first begin with meeting the student and thoroughly learn and understand their needs. Their strengths and matters they would like to work on. I then personalise the lessons using a holistic approach, according to what works best for the student to facilitate their learning and performance. The technique is built upon the student's own requirements.
