Experience:

I am experienced nursery (Montessori license)and primary school teacher. I lead individual and group interventions for EAL (English as a secondary language) students and OT (fine and gross motor skills) sessions. I have worked as learning support teacher and special needs teacher in one of the best established school in Dubai since 3 years. I am psychologist and ABA certificate holder, as well as Teaching Social Skills certificate, TESOL, and Dyslexia Reading certificate holder.

Approach:

My approach is communicative and sensitive towards students needs. I follow student's pace and abilities, extending their confidence and self-esteem by building achievable and easy to measure new skills. My lessons are meticulously planned based on the previous assessment and student's strengths. I like to incorporate a lot of fun activities and "not so academic" tasks, so the lesson goes in a light and friendly atmosphere, without feeling overwhelmed.
