Experience:

I currently teach Cambridge English framework and scheme if work. My short-term purpose is to develop students’ understanding different types of fiction and non-fiction texts. I also aim to equip them with a wide range of vocabulary and grammatical structures to help them communicate effectively and express what they feel, think and imagine. My long-term purpose is to help them develop skills that will be used in and outside the classroom, ex:critical thinking, emotional& social intelligence.

Approach:

I use various teaching techniques in my lessons. I like to use brainstorming and ask questions during the warm up to help students recall previous knowledge and relate them to the new topic I introduce. When planning my lessons; I keep in mind visual, auditory and kinesthetic learning styles. I make sure to include visual displays, videos, diagrams, arts-and-crafts, and building projects when possible.
