Experience:

I have been teaching first grade for 2 years in an IB curriculum school. I enjoy teaching literacy and math and have some tutoring experience in a 1:1 setting. My teaching style consists of student driven inquiry and differentiation.

Approach:

Initially, I conduct baseline assessments to identify learning gaps/needs. Following the assessments, I work with the student based on what he/she needs to focus on whether it’s in literacy or math. I use a lot of interactive content that drives student engagement and interest in the subject.
