Experience:

I have been teaching and demonstrating human anatomy for the last seven as an Anatomy Senior Officer in the University of Western Cape. As a student, I worked for 4 years as a tutor. I am currently managing the Anatomy laboratories at my place of employment which means I get to engage and impact the majority of health science students (close to 1000) in our department. Dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic has helped me to broaden my area of work and assisted in improving my only teaching.

Approach:

My tutoring is mainly problem based learning with a lot of demonstrations in a form of pictures, videos and plastic models.
