Experience:

Alongside my career, I have tutored children of all ages. 1:1 tuition can be a great tool to improve children’s confidence, attainment and progress. I have been teaching for 9 years, in that time, I have been an assistant head, led maths, led English and of course, taught hundreds of wonderful children.

Approach:

Each individual student learns in a slightly different way, meaning each child needs individualised plans. When tutoring, it is important to understand the goals, before plotting the steps to get there. A good relationship between student and tutor is key- and this is something I strongly believe in. Due to this, I like to meet (including online!) the student to ensure we have a good basis to work on.
