A Level Chemistry Examiner and classroom Teacher

Experience:

I am an A Level Chemistry examiner and sixth form college teacher based in the UK. I have a PhD in Biochemistry (Distinction) and Postgraduate Certificate in Education. I have been classroom teacher since 2011. My resources and worksheets range from introduction of topics to activities that challenge students to the A* grade. My experience as an examiner enables me to guide students to maximise their performance. All GCSE and A Level exam boards as well with international ones covered.

Approach:

I am approachable and enthusiastic. Students take an active role in lessons. I encourage them to come to the lesson with specific questions. For many of my students I set some homework prior to the lesson, e.g. reading some pages of a book, so that this will prompt them to ask questions. After lessons I will send homework, usually with answer sheets. If the first lesson did not meet your expectations you would get the lesson fee back. I also teach small groups of siblings or friends.
