Experience:

I used to teach Maths from basic roots till last exercise as per syllabus of specific grade / level. If students don't know the basic formula or root they can't solve the exercise. It's applicable for all arithmetic, algebra, geometry etc. Same strategy for science. Additionally I used to explain science with very easy example.

Approach:

I will explain the topic then solve some problems then let solve for students . Sometimes small jokes for minds refreshing. Sometimes behave as a good friend etc.
