Children's Care learning and development BTEC, BA (Hons) in Primary Education and National qualification in Middle leadership in Primary

Experience:

In the UK, I taught years 1,2 and 3 and was the KS1 leader. I was responsible for my own class as well as the whole key stage. I undertook the phonics assessments and Year 2 SATs. I have a sound knowledge of the exams and expectations. I have taught in Dubai for 1 1/2 years and during this time I have been the head of Years 2 and 3. I have a large range of experiences from nursery, Years 1,2,3,4,5, in special educational needs settings and in behaviour units. Please contact me for more info.

Approach:

Within my lessons, I focus on the individual child ensuring that they receive a personalised education fitting their individual needs. I always make sure lessons are fun, engaging and link to the National Curriculum so that the child is given the tools to succeed. The child's wellbeing is of utmost importance so I always make sure they feel comfortable and supported.
