Qualification:

PGCE Primary Education, BA Education Studies & Disability Studies with Honors.

Experience:

British Primary teacher currently teaching Year 1 in an Outstanding British school. Experience in teaching KS1 and LKS2 but trained and competent in teaching children aged 4-11. I have lots of experience teaching in Year 1 and undertaking age related assessments such as the Phonics Screening check. I have experience teaching across the different years of Primary and can tailor my sessions to suit all ages and abilities. I was previously Head of Mathematics and have experience in preparing students for GL assessments and statuatory tests. I am a passionate and creative teacher who enjoys creating memorable and engaging lessons to support progress with the children I teach. I am willing to negotiate fees depending on location for face to face sessions or for online sessions. 

Approach:

My lessons are engaging and fun but most importantly set out to challenge the children to the best of their abilities. Activities are tailored to the individual needs of each child to support this and help ensure steady progress across all areas of learning.
