Experience:

I am in my fifth year of teaching A-Level and GCSE/iGCSE History. Currently working one-on-one in a school setting with an A-Level History and an A-Level Politics student with great success. I believe being able to cater to every interaction to the student's needs are the best way to accelerate results with interactive sessions that will encourage learning both in and out of our sessions.

Approach:

History needs to be told in a way that resonates with a student which can be hard for a younger person. By explaining how events shaped the world we live in or comparing past events with current events, allows us to make history relevant which makes it more likely to stick. Using expert knowledge we will work on key skills using scaffolding, to begin with that is slowly removed till the student can support themselves. Practice only makes perfect if you practice it right, to begin with.
