Experience:

I am a practising professional Visual Artist, and have worked in creative sectors and education for ten years. My Degree is in Fine Art (Painting) and Masters Degree in Visual Art Practices. I have a sound knowledge of both GCSE and A Level Art and Design courses and can support students through these courses. I would be able to assist them in every step, offer a wide range of artistic support and guidance to all ages and all stages of development.

Approach:

Lessons are planned according to the individual needs of the pupil. After an initial assessment of their grades and targets I would develop a structured way forward that would develop creativity, advance skills and produce substantial Art. When supporting students through coursework, I would break work down into manageable chucks to ensure momentum and achieve milestones. As a professional artist I understand the issues art students face and can offer guidance through their creative studies.
