Experience:

I graduated from Swansea University (UK) with a First Class Honors in English. Throughout my time at university, I won several awards for my work, such as the E. Arthur Williams prize for Best Essayist and the Public Law Award Wales. Additionally, I am a published writer, with several articles featuring on the New Welsh Review magazine. I have worked as both a full-time class teacher at the International School of Choueifat, and have extensive experience with individual personal tutoring.

Approach:

A brief consultation with my pupil to understand their individual needs, such as examining work for strengths/weaknesses, assessing whether they learn best through audio/visual cues. I carefully monitor progress to ensure that goals are met, and listen closely to my pupil to ensure that I am teaching at their pace rather than mine. I focus on motivating and supporting the individual rather than simply passing on academic knowledge and facts to the student.
