Experience:

Prepared comprehensive and simple lesson plans according to the curriculum the student is doing. Tutored approximately 10 students at a given time. Providing a one-to-one teaching experience in the areas of Mathematics, Biology and Chemistry. Evaluating the student's skills and weaknesses and modifying the focus of lessons to suit the needs of the student, thus aiding students in understanding concepts covered in their Mathematics and Science courses.

Approach:

I use socratic method which helps me to determine problem areas for the student, to determine what a student knows, to help a student determine the right answer, to see if a student can apply new skills, or to clarify something which is not clear.The results allow me to target the main problem areas using appropriate course materials, I then teach my student important study skills I then conclude with a holistic tutoring approach, thus encompassing the broader subject area.
