Experience:

Ed Lucas is a 6’4” professional basketball player/shooting guard and skills and development coach. Ed signed his first Professional contract at age 18 with Clube Desportivo Primeiro Dagosto 2012/16 becoming one of Angola’s top players and also where he kick started his coaching career by taking on the various teams he has played for younger teams. Then signed Petro De Luanda 2016/18 Then signed with former BBL team London City Royals for 2018/19 season winning the BBL Trophy with his last second shot. As one of the UK’s best shooting guards he then played for the London Lions for 2019/21. The next season Lucas signed to play in France for professional side Etoile De Charleville in the north of France 2021/22 where he lead his team in scoring and considered one of the best imports to play that season. He then most recently signed again in France where he represented top of the league team Rouen Metropole Basket. Throughout his successful career on the court, Ed has also been running his own academy during his off season summers providing exclusive 1 to 1 and group training sessions to many youth in his hometown  London and is now taking his experience and skills to the UAE to help discover and nurture new talent!
