Experience:

I have been teaching history and sociology for 8 years in International schools worldwide. I successfully prepared students for IB Diploma History and AP History and Sociology exams. My strength is understanding of exam criteria and persistent work towards the goal. My approach evokes motivation and enables students to discover things that make history entertaining.

Approach:

The lesson planning is based on the student's needs. I often use flipped classroom in order to let students actively participate in lesson alongside discussions and working out examples from past papers. I conduct assessments with questions taken from real exams and give constructive feedback on students' work to make sure we are moving towards our goals. The first session will be introductory: - we will assess your knowledge - set goals - find the right approach to crack the curriculum - set a routine that will consist of homework, online sessions, self-check assessments, benchmark assessments.
