Qualification:

BA (Hons) English Language and Literature, Primary Postgraduate Certificate in Education and currently completely a Masters in Education.

Experience:

I have trained across Ireland and the UK and have taught primary aged students for over four years. My emphasis is very much focused on student development, both academically and socially. My strength lies undoubtedly in my ability to build quality relationships with my students and setting short-term, achievable goals. I am committed to helping students strive towards success as open-minded individuals who are developing their confidence while taking risks in learning.

Approach:

I believe communication is key to ensuring that goals are met with satisfaction. Lessons are tailored according to the student's specific needs and personality. Having previously tutored both children and adults, I understand the necessity of variety and freshness in learning through activities that require us to get up, move around and think outside the box! I have experience in teaching both the British Curriculum and the American Curriculum.
