I have a PhD in English. I have spent over ten years teaching at universities, in addition to tutoring. I am passionate about all things related to English, especially Literature. For those interested in pursuing higher education/graduate school, I know what is required to be successful. For those just wanting to discuss a 'must read' novel for class or to just brainstorm ideas, I am always happy to help.

Approach:

I ensure that I understand where students are and where they need to be. If a gap exists between those two points, I work with tutees. I believe in collaborative learning and see myself as a facilitator.
