Qualification:

Bachelor of Arts in Primary Education and Early Childhood Care & Education (Honours)

Experience:

Seven years of teaching experience in both Ireland and the UAE. Currenty teaching Primary and Kindergarten. I have worked in an array of educational settings including Primary Schools, Montessori Schools and Special Education. I have worked with children of all ages ranging between 0-10 years.

Approach:

My approach is to always encourage students to feel empowered, to think for themselves and to find answers to questions independently. I prepare clear, interesting and engaging lessons according to the child's learning capacity. It's important to assess the child and to identify their abilitiy levels, learning styles and their areas of interest. I then aim to incorporate these into my lessons and prepare effective teaching strategies that ensure meaningful learning is taking place.
