From my experience I found out that the student who is interactive during the class has the ability to understand the subject more than the one who listens only. And the more information the student is able to put into a discussion with the tutor the easier the information will be stuck in one's head.

Approach:

I request the material to be send out to me minimum two days before the class time so the class is efficient and straight to the important points. I recommend that the students have a look at the material that will be covered during class so they prepare questions and they are familiar with the material. I do not have issues with online classes using web cam. I have a flexible schedule to accommodate the students.
