Experience:

I have a 1st class honours B.Ed and have 5 years of teaching experience. I have worked with Primary and Secondary school students on a whole school and one to one level. I have tutored Science to GCSE and have experience of working with primary school students for English, Maths and Science. I find out students learn best, and then use this to help them access work. I help students break down information so they fully understand. I have prepared many students for exams to achieve high grades.

Approach:

I plan every session in advance to make full use of the time allowed for tutoring. I prepare extra resources where needed to fully support students. I will also work from familiar resources from school to avoid confusion and ensure maximum success. I get to know students on a personal level so they are comfortable, and create a very positive environment where they are happy to ask questions.
