Experience:

I have been facilitating workshops and teaching classes in visual art and textiles for many years. Providing corporate team building sessions, one-to-one classes for people of determination and working in schools and institutions across the UAE. I also have extensive experience in art and design studio practice including but not limited to the studio arts (drawing, painting, video, darkroom), textile techniques (weaving, and embroidery), printing, garment construction, and digital design.

Approach:

My tutoring approach is to define goals and expectations to create a plan to achieve these and move through in a considered manner. My lessons are tailored to the individual, focussing on their interests, building on their strengths and managing areas for development. Working with me is a unique experience, that may push you out of your comfort zone as we explore the expressive side of the arts and education and really think about boundaries and how to be innovative.
