Masters in Special Educational Needs and Disabilities, International Diploma in Child Psychology, BSc Hons in Global Social Science

Experience:

Taught at various special needs institutions and centres across UAE, UK and India. Experience includes teaching at the University of Birmingham, UK, The Gateway School of Mumbai, Kings School Al Barsha, etc. Worked as a vocational trainer, math and classroom teacher, and photography educator at Dubai Autism Center. Taught CBSE, GCSE, and available to teach all other curriculums.

Approach:

Initial meeting/phone call would focus on knowing about the child's strengths, prior knowledge and resources available to the child. The big goal would be decided based on this information and a pre-assessment. The lessons would be planned to keep the big goal in mind, and each lesson will have a goal and plan for that class with follow up resources to dive deep into the knowledge and encourage practice. The lessons are tailored as per the child's needs and adopt a strength-based approach.
