Qualification:

MEng Aerospace Engineering (in progress), A Level: A*AA (Maths, Furthur Maths and Physics), GCSE: 6A* 5A (A*s in Maths, Further Maths and Physics)

Experience:

I am currently a student at the University of Bristol, so A-levels and GCSEs are still fresh in my mind. I also recall how having a good teacher or a bad teacher could be the difference between loving and hating a subject. As for teaching experience, mine is minimal. I taught younger gifted students maths when I was in Dubai College as part of a school-sponsored program to raise interest in the UKMT Challenge and the ISMTF (an international maths competition where I placed in the top 50).  

Approach:

Maths is often dreaded by people young and old, but I believe that it doesn't have to be this way. It is my firm belief that every person has the aptitude to learn GCSE and A-Level maths. My lesson structure is fairly loose and laidback, I'll aim to build a solid foundation of understanding on whatever mathematical topic is desired and then I'll further it by asking questions and mathematical problems I devise in order to hone the students problem-solving, logical and critical thinking skills.
