Experience:

I am a creative and child centred teacher. My strengths are my love for children’s learning and my fun teaching style, with the children’s interest at the heart of everything I do. I have extensive experience of teaching children who have English as an additional language in the UK and also in Dubai where I have been teaching for the past nine years. I have experience with a range of strategies to teach reading and also mathematical strategies.

Approach:

I plan my lessons based on the students, because I believe each child is an individual and learns at a different pace. The joy of being able to tutor, gives me that time with the students to work at their pace to achieve maximum result in their studies. I enjoy using technology in my teaching and believe it is important that children are digitally ready for the word around them. I have an Apple Teacher certificate and can use a range of apps to support children’s learning.
