Qualification:Professional Mathematics Teacher with TESOL certification
Experience:I earned a degree in BSc in Mathematics for Teachers I also have and certification to teach Mathematics in Secondary level in the from my home country. I also hold a TESOL certificate and achieved an overall score of 7.5 in IELTS. I have classroom teaching experience in my home country and here in the UAE. In the Philippines, I have worked as a full-time classroom teacher for Mathematics in an international school for four academic years. There I taught Mathematics to Chinese students of classes Grades 7-10, where we followed K-12 and specialized curriculum based on American Standards. I have also worked as a freelance Math tutor and ESL teacher to different nationalities. Here in the UAE, I have taught for a project in charter schools. I have been doing private tutoring for different nationalities, curriculum and levels here as well.
Approach:For new clients, it is important to speak with the parents for their preferences then identify the level, school and curriculum of the students. Basing on the needs of the student, i follow through their curriculum and supplement with additional resources for intervention, gap bridiging and revision of pre requistes as needed.
