Experience:

I'm Ms. Bennett. I'm originally from the United States. I was born and attended college in North Carolina. I graduated Cum Laude in May of 2012 with a B.S. in Mathematics with honors. I taught for 3 years as a licensed High School Math teacher where I gained experience teaching in the IB Middle Years Program (MYP) and working with academically gifted students in the Honors program. I have taught the gamut of high school math courses from Pre-Algebra to Precalculus.

Approach:

My tutoring approach is to just keep it simple. Students who are learning internationally can sometimes find mathematical language a challenge. So by keeping the steps and language simple we can build that necessary foundation to progress through mathematical thinking.
