Experience:

I've worked as a TA and as a university tutor for years. I have a lot of experience teaching students from primary to college level. The main benefit of working with me is that I am really good at understanding the overarching strategy of exam sitting. Knowing the material will get you decent grades but in order to score perfectly, you need to know all the tricks to taking exams optimally. This is what I aim to teach all my students.

Approach:

I typically go over the material with the student once. I take the time to clarify any confusion they have on the subject matter and then we go over exercise sets. I observe how students solve each problem and I correct any potential mistakes while explaining how this type of exercise is identifiable. Finally, I will have the student take mock exams where we identify standard exercise categories that they can expect and learn how to solve them consistently.
